They're so so cute! They only live in saltwater tanks, don't they?

lol.. yes, they are very cute and no, they are freshwater shrimps.

This is the more popular species call Crystal Red Shrimps or CRS
The cheap grade goes for a few dollars each while the most expensive grade can go over a few hundred dollars.

CRS isn't as easy to keep compare to most shrimps species as they are more sensitive to the water parameters, going for somewhat soft waters with PH 6.5.

They are other lovely species like Red Cherry Shrimp (RCS) which is easier to rear and Sulawesi Shrimps.

heiheihei... yes and no..

they need water parameter around 22-25 degrees, can survive 28/29 degrees but won't do as well.
PH 6.5 with low water hardness. This is quite easy as long as you keep plants.

Water need to be clean so depends on your bio-load and how big your tank. The bigger the tank, the more water, the easier to keep. xD

You can always call me if you want more info. I been keeping planted tanks with fishes, snails, shrimps, etc for a few years.

lol.. the smaller the tank, the harder to rear fish or shrimps.. bigger tank are easier as the water parameters are easier to maintain
